BharatBot ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our automated trading bot service (the "Service").

1. Information We Do Not Collect

We have designed our Service with your privacy as a top priority. We do not collect, store, or have access to any of your personally identifiable information (PII). This includes:

  • Your name, email address, or phone number.
  • Your Upstox login credentials (username, password).
  • Your financial information, bank account details, or Demat account number.
  • Your trading history, positions, or account balance.

2. How We Interact with Your Upstox Account

Our Service interacts with your Upstox account exclusively through the secure and encrypted Application Programming Interface (API) provided by Upstox.

  • API Keys: You provide us with API keys that you generate from your Upstox account. These keys grant our bot permission to place and manage trades on your behalf.
  • No Fund Access: These API keys do NOT give us access to withdraw or transfer funds from your account. Your money always remains in your Upstox account, under your control.
  • Revocable Access: You have full control to revoke these API keys at any time from your Upstox dashboard, which will immediately terminate our bot's access to your account.

3. Data We Process (Anonymously)

To operate the trading bot, our servers process the following data in-memory on a temporary basis. This data is **not stored** on our servers and is cleared after execution.

  • **Bot Configuration:** Your chosen stock, investment amount, and grid settings. This is stored only for the active session of the bot.
  • **Order Status:** Real-time status of buy and sell orders placed by the bot to manage the grid logic.

We do not log or store any of this operational data permanently. Your trading activity remains private to you and your Upstox account.

4. Cookies and Session Management

We use a secure, HttpOnly cookie to manage your login session to our dashboard. This cookie contains no personal information and is used solely to verify that you are authenticated. The session expires automatically after 2 hours of inactivity.

5. Third-Party Services

The entire service operates through the Upstox API. Your data is subject to Upstox's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We do not share any information with other third parties.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
